MapleShine TEDEd Club
Recommended Age: Grade 4 -12
In MapleShine TED-Ed Club, students will spark and celebrate the ideas, engaging in a series of explorations to delivery an amazing TED Style Talk.
Along the way, students will develop skills in:

Researching, developing and presenting an idea

Filming a TED-Ed Student Talk
Part 1: Discover
To give a truly powerful Talk, it helps to start with a topic that excites you, about which you care deeply. These first sessions will help students begin uncovering what those topics might be for them.
Part 2: Develop
No Talk can be great without a lot of thought and hard work. During the 2nd part of course, students go through a process to transform their idea into something others want to share.
Part 3: Share
Great Talks are about giving a gift to your audience. During the 3rd part of the course, students learn a few key steps to make sure their audience connects with what they have to say.

All our student participants are expected to film a TED-Ed Student Talk, which may be nominated by MapleShine to TED-Ed to be featured on TED-Ed Student Talks official YouTube channel.
